The Florida Panthers have posted an 20-12-6 mark since Jan. 1, earning points in 26 of their last 38 games. After 75 games, Florida (36-28-11) owns their best record since 1999-2000 campaign (40-25-5-5), the last time that the Panthers qualified for the post season. The Panthers are currently in a stretch where they play four games in six nights (vs. Carolina 3/23. @ Buffalo 3/25, @ Philadelphia 3/26, @ Dallas 3/28).

4. D Jay Bouwmeester ranks third in the NHL averaging 26:56 of ice time per game and ranks 26th among NHL league leaders with 37 points (14-23-37). He also holds the NHL’s active consecutive games played streak at 334 games played, dating back to the 2003-04 season. Additionally, with his 50th goal of his NHL career on Thursday, Feb. 5, Bouwmeester became just the second Panthers defenseman to record 50 tallies while playing for the Cats, joining Robert Svehla (61).

3. Seven of Florida’s top 11 leading point producers are 26 years-old or younger (Weiss-25 yrs old; Booth-24 yrs old; Horton-23 yrs old; Bouwmeester-25 yrs old; Frolik-20 yrs old; Campbell-25 yrs old, Ballard-26 yrs old).

2. C Michael Frolik ranks seventh among NHL rookie scoring leaders with 37 points (19-18-37). In addition, Frolik places fourth in rookie goal scoring (19) and fourth among rookie leaders in shots on goal (143). With his next goal Frolik will become just the third rookie in Panthers franchise history to score 20 goals in his freshman season joining Mark Parrish (24) and Kristian Huselius

1. Tonight's game marks Florida's first visit to Dallas since a 4-3 loss to the Stars on Dec. 7, 2005. The Panthers earned their last win in Dallas on Oct. 30, 2002, a 3-2 victory.
