5 THINGS EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT TONIGHT'S GAME:

5. The Florida Panthers complete a four-game road trip tonight in Toronto. Tonight's game marks the first of four meetings between the Panthers and the Maple Leafs. Florida currently sits at 1-1-1 on their road trip, dropping a New Year's Eve contest to the NY Islanders (2-4), defeating Pittsburgh on Jan. 3 (6-1) and earning a point against Montreal on Jan. 4 (5-6 SOL). After tonight, the Panthers return home for a three-game homestand that begins on Jan. 8 against the Carolina Hurricanes.

4. D Jay Bouwmeester ranks second in the NHL averaging 27:41 of ice time per game and has 12 points (6-6-12) with a +5 rating in his last 19 games played.

3. C Michael Frolik ranks 11th among the NHL's rookie scoring leaders with 16 points (7-9-16). In addition, Frolik places tied for sixth among rookie leaders with 64 shots on goal.

2. LW David Booth has recorded nine points (4-5-9) in his last seven games played and paces the Panthers with 16 goals. He also currently has a five game point scoring streak (4-4-8) in tact.
