5. The Florida Panthers have posted a 9-2-3 mark since Jan. 1, earning points in 12 of their last 14 games and currently sit in eighth place in the Eastern Conference with 58 points. Seven of the Panthers next 12 games will be played against division leaders, with contests against Southeast Division leaders the Washington Capitals three times (Feb. 7, Feb. 15 & Mar. 1), Northeast Division leaders the Boston Bruins twice (Feb. 21 & Feb. 24) and the Atlantic Division leaders the New Jersey Devils twice (Feb. 17 & Feb. 28). Additionally, 10 of their next 12 games will be played against clubs that are ahead of them in the standings.

4. D Jay Bouwmeester ranks first in the NHL averaging 27:16 of ice time per game and has recorded seven points (6-1-7) in his last 11 games played. With his 50th goal of his NHL career on Thursday, Feb. 5, Bouwmeester became just the second Panthers defenseman to record 50 tallies while playing for the Cats, joining Robert Svehla (61).

3. C Michael Frolik ranks eighth among NHL rookie scoring leaders with 24 points (11-13-24). In addition, Frolik places third among rookie leaders in shots on goal (91), seventh in rookie goal scoring (11) and tied for eighth in power play points (7). He recorded the first three point effort (1-2-3) of his NHL career on Tuesday, Jan. 27 in the Panthers 3-2 victory over Philadelphia.

2. The Panthers have 11 different players (Booth, Weiss, Horton, Bouwmeester, Stillman, Frolik, Campbell, Dvorak, McCabe, Peltonen, Ballard) on their roster who have recorded at least 20 or more points.

1. C Stephen Weiss has recorded 10 points (2-8-10) with a +5 rating in his last 11 games played and paces the team with 36 points (9-27-36). LW David Booth has recorded 20 points (8-12-20) in his last 19 games played and leads the Panthers with 20 goals.
