5 THINGS EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT TONIGHT'S GAME:

5. The Florida Panthers play their final game of a four-game homestand tonight against the Montreal Canadiens. The Cats have posted a 6-1-3 mark in games played in January and have gone 15-6-7 in games played since Nov. 24. The Cats currently are 1-1-1 on the homestand, earning a 3-2 win over Philadelphia on Jan. 27, a 4-1 defeat to Dallas on Jan. 21 and a 4-3 shootout loss to Buffalo on Jan. 19.

4. D Jay Bouwmeester ranks first in the NHL averaging 27:20 of ice time per game and has 18 points (10-8-18) with a +9 rating in his last 27 games played. He had a four-game goal scoring streak snapped on Jan. 19 against Buffalo and has recorded seven points (4-3-7) in his last nine games played.

3. C Michael Frolik ranks tied for seventh among NHL rookie scoring leaders with 23 points (10-13-23). In addition, Frolik places fourth among rookie leaders in shots on goal (82), seventh in rookie goal scoring (10) and tied for sixth in power play points (7). He recorded the first three point effort (1-2-3) of his NHL career on Tuesday, Jan. 27 in the Panthers 3-2 victory over Philadelphia.

G Tomas Vokoun has posted a 5-1-2 mark in his last eight starts, earning one shutout with a .923 save percentage. The tandem of Vokoun and G Craig Anderson ranks eighth in the NHL with a 2.67 GAA and tied for third with a .919 save percentage.

1. LW David Booth has recorded 18 points (8-10-18) in his last 16 games played and paces the Panthers with 20 goals and 32 points (20-12-32).
