5 Things To Know: Panthers vs Canadiens

5. The Florida Panthers have not lost at Montreal in regulation time since Jan. 28, 2003, a span of nine games. Florida is 5-0-1-3 in those nine games.

4. Florida's RW Nathan Horton has scored a point in each of the Panthers first four games. He had a goal on Opening Night in Carolina and an assist in each of the last three games.

3. One of Florida's newest D Nick Boynton has scored a goal in two consecutive games including Saturday's GWG over the Islanders. Boynton had only three goals for Phoenix last year and only two the year before. Now Boynton gets to play a Montreal squad which he has scored nine career points (2-7-9), the second most against one team for Boynton (Buffalo - 10).

2. Another one of Florida's newest D Keith Ballard is currently riding a three game point/assist streak (0-4-4). Two of those four assists are to his former Phoenix teammate, now defensive partner with Florida, Nick Boynton.

1. Panthers RW Radek Dvorak is scheduled to play in his 900th career NHL game tonight.
