Tyler Seguin is expected to be drafted with one of the top two picks after tying for the OHL league lead with fellow number one contender Taylor Hall with 106 points. It was the first time in Plymouth history to lead the OHL in scoring. His 48 goals in 63 games ranked third in the OHL for the '09-10 season.

Seguin won the Red Tilson Trophy as the OHL's outstanding player for his efforts as he beat out Hall and London's Nazem Kadri.

NHL Central Scouting's Chris Edwards on Seguin: “Tyler Seguin makes things happen every time he is on the ice and he makes his teammates better. He's a skilled forward. He's a guy that's obviously a top-line forward with all kinds of puck skills and playmaking abilities. ... He's an elusive guy in traffic, avoiding checks with the puck.”

Plymouth coach Mike Vellucci on Seguin: “I knew he was a great player, knew he had the skill level to do it. The surprise to me is he has the determination and the heart for it. He never stops moving on the ice, even in practice. He's always moving, trying to get better. That's what surprises me. Surprised by his talent and ability? No, but by how much he wants it.”

Seguin On Seguin: "Right now in the NHL I look up to Henrik Zetterberg of the Detroit Red Wings. He's close to Plymouth and I get to see him here and there. He's an all around type of player and that's what I want to be like."
