Vote for the Snickers Play of the Week - October 11 to 17

by staff / Edmonton Oilers
Each week, reviews all the top goals, saves, hits and fights and narrows it down to the final three. That means it's up to you, the fans, to decide which is the top play for the week.

The first week of the season saw some incredible plays from the young Oilers. Jordan Eberle's highlight reel goal was the first candidate of the early season, but is it enough to beat out Steve MacIntyre's TKO and Nikolai Khabibulin's brilliant breakaway saves?

Jordan Eberle's First Career NHL Goal

Jordan Eberle's first career goal was as pretty as they come. After electing to keep on a two-on-one with captain Shawn Horcoff, Eberle dangles around a sprawling Ian White and stunned Miikka Kiprusoff to bring the Rexall Place crowd into a frenzy and put his team up 2-0 in the season-opener.

MacIntyre's TKO

After being challenged by Calgary's Raitis Ivanans late in Thursday's season-opener, MacIntyre obliged and made the Flames enforcer pay for the request.

Khabibulin Saves the Day

Nikolai Khabibulin makes two brilliant point-blank saves on Florida's Chris Higgins to keep the Oilers in a game in which they were offensively outclassed.
