Vote for the Play of the Week - Nov 2 to Nov 8

by staff / Edmonton Oilers
Each week, reviews all the top goals and saves and narrows it down to the final three. That means it's up to you the fans to decide which is the top play for the week. At the end of the year, we'll put the top plays up against one another to determine the play of the year.

Dustin Penner emerged as the winner for Plays of the Week in each of the first three weeks to start the season but last week Ales Hemsky took away his title. This week Penner can reclaim his title but Lubomir Visnovsky and Ryan Potulny might have something to say about that.

Visnovsky scores on the New York Rangers

Lubomir Visnovsky breaks into the zone at full speed then backhands the puck up and over the shoulder of Steve Valiquette.

Penner nets one against the Avalanche

Dustin Penner continues his red-hot start to the season by one-timing a cross-ice pass from Patrick O'Sullivan past Avalanche netminder Craig Anderson.

Potulny scores his first as an Oiler

Ryan Potulny scores what turns out to be the winning goal in his first game after being called up from Springfield of the AHL.
