Oilers defenceman Lubomir Visnovsky was named on Tuesday to Slovakia's entry for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, BC.
The Olympics will be the third in Visnovsky's career, having previously played in 2002 in Salt Lake City, Utah and 2006 in Torino, Italy.
In 2002, Slovakia finished 13th and in 2006 they had a much better showing, finishing in 5th spot.
Visnovsky had three points in three games (one goal) in the 2002 Olympics, with a +3 rating. In 2006, he had two points in six games (one goal) and was also +3.
In 67 career games through World Championships, Olympics and World Cup combined, Visnovsky has 12 goals and 35 assists for 47 points with a +28 rating and 26 penalty minutes. 2010 Slovakia RosterGoalies:
