After several rounds of voting for the top plays from 2007-08, Oilers fans have shortened the field from 16 plays down to four.
As expected, many of the four second round match-ups were closely contested. The narrowest margin was Mathieu Garon's save against the Anaheim Ducks, prevailing 54.1% to 45.9% over Ales Hemsky
's goal against the Los Angeles Kings.
The good news for Hemsky, however, is that two of his goals did make the final four. His breakaway goal against the Calgary Flames from January now goes up against Andrew Cogliano's NHL record third consecutive overtime goal versus the St. Louis Blues.
Hemsky's October 25th goal against the Minnesota Wild also made the grade, edging out Gagner's March 22 goal versus the Avalanche. He will go against Garon's save at Anaheim.
Voting goes until Sunday night when the top two plays will then go head-to-head. Click here to proceed to the voting area.
