Top 5: Trade Deadline Moves
Two days before the NHL Trade Deadline, the Oilers made three trades that saw goaltender Anders Nilsson sent to the St. Louis Blues, forward Teddy Purcell join the Florida Panthers and defenceman Justin Schultz join the Pittsburgh Penguins. In return, the Oilers acquired several future draft picks and one prospective player. On Deadline Day, Edmonton acquired another three players with two waiver claims and one trade.
