Stortini assigned to Hamilton

The Edmonton Oilers have assigned forward Zack Stortini to the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League.

The 63", 215-pound native of Elliot Lake, Ontario was recalled from Hamilton on November 20th, but did not play in the Oilers 2-1 win versus the Calgary Flames at Rexall Place on November 21st.

The 21-year-old winger scored 6-0-6 and was +1 with 60 penalty minutes in 16 games with Hamilton. He was 10th on the Bulldogs scoring list at the time of his recall and was tied for the team lead in goals. His 60 penalty minutes led Hamilton and ranked fourth in the AHL.
