It’s a very special instalment of the Oilers social media roundup, as we’re on location in Nashville for the NHL All-Star festivities, featuring Taylor Hall representing Oil Country. Friday was Media Day in Music City, as we conducted a Twitter Q&A with Taylor and also chronicled the festivities on Snapchat. We’ve got plenty more coverage in store later on Saturday with the Skills Competition followed by the games on Sunday, so stay tuned to all our channels!

In between stops along Friday's media gauntlet, Taylor took a few moments to answer fan-tweeted questions via the hashtag #NHLHallStar
, as we learned about his phobia for cartoons, his favourite emoji and much more.
If you’re not following ‘edmontonoilers’ on Snapchat, you’re missing out on our exclusive look at the NHL All-Star festivities!
Hockey has an amazing way of uniting fans around an important cause, and for the next month all Canadian NHL teams will be focused on mental health awareness and fundraising with #HockeyTalks
. Follow that hashtag throughout February to learn more about mental illness and what the Oilers are doing to help.
GIF OF THE WEEK
With the All-Star break in full effect, there was only one game on the Oilers schedule this past week, so our featured GIF comes from Leon Draisaitl scoring a beauty against the Predators last Saturday and getting mobbed by his teammates. See a GIF-able moment? Tweet us @edmontonoilers
and we’ll try to make it happen!
OIL COUNTRY SPOTLIGHT
This week’s spotlight shines on our friend and massive Oilers fan Jesse Kupina (co-owner of several local establishments including Central Social Hall), who had a chance to play on Toronto’s skyscraper rink recently and made sure to represent his hometown team! We’re also giving a shout-out to Oilers fan Steph Hill, who made sure each of her friends’ sets of twins was properly decked out in orange and blue.
