Snickers Plays of the Year - Round 4, Game A
<< Round 3, Game D

Each week during this past season, reviewed all the top goals and saves and put the vote to you the fans for the top play for the week. Those plays are back as the top 32 plays face off in head-to-head competition until a winner is ultimately determined. We will regularly put two plays up against one another and it's up to you to decide which one will advance on to the next round.

VOTING IS NOW CLOSED: Eberle (77%) def. Hall (23%)

Eberle's First Career NHL Goal

After electing to keep on a two-on-one with captain Shawn Horcoff, Eberle dangles around a sprawling Ian White and stunned Miikka Kiprusoff to bring the Rexall Place crowd into a frenzy and put his team up 2-0 in the season-opener.

Hall Tricks Atlanta

Down by a goal entering the third period vs. Atlanta, an Evander Kane tally early in the frame extended that uphill climp to a pair of goals. Then, Taylor arrived and single-handily propeled the Oilers to victory in one of the most dramatic scenes at Rexall Place in quite some time.

Hall scored three times in the period, all on the power-play, to record his first career NHL hat-trick (of the natural variety, no less). The stunning third period performance lifted the Oilers to a well-earned 5-3 victory.
