Snickers Plays of the Year - Round 1, Game N
<< Game M

Game O >>

Each week during this past season, reviewed all the top goals and saves and put the vote to you the fans for the top play for the week. Those plays are back as the top 32 plays face off in head-to-head competition until a winner is ultimately determined. We will regularly put two plays up against one another and it's up to you to decide which one will advance on to the next round.

VOTING IS NOW CLOSED: Hall (76%) def. Vandermeer (24%)

Hall & the Electric Conclusion

Following a neutral zone collision between Shawn Horcoff and Andy McDonald, Ryan Whitney collects the puck and locates a streaking Taylor Hall up the wing. A quick snapshot on Jaroslav Halak ended the game in an instant, bringing the sold-out Rexall Place crowd into a craze.

Vandermeer Earns the Decision

Shortly after dropping the gloves, Jim Vandermeer begins chucking bombs, while Milan Lucic is unable to respond to the onslaught. Both sides would eventually land several shots, but Vandermeer escaped with the victory following a number of late-round connections.
