Russell gives update

Oilers defenceman Kris Russell will join the Oilers on their six-game road trip, signalling that he is close to returning to game action.
The Caroline, AB, native spoke after Friday's practice about his status.

"Feeling alright, legs feel really good," he said.
There's a good chance Russell plays at some point during the road swing but he hasn't discussed it with the Oilers training staff.
"We haven't had that talk yet so I don't know when I'm returning. I'll be going on the road so it's a good sign."
Russell has five assists in 47 games this season.
