by Ryan Dittrick / Edmonton Oilers
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins will be back in action tonight as the Oilers battle the Nashville Predators in the Music City. The 19-year-old had missed the past two games with an illness and was placed on the IR retroactive to last Sunday. As a result of his activation, the Oilers have assigned left-winger Teemu Hartikainen to the AHL's Oklahoma City Barons.

Hartikainen, 22, has recorded a goal, three points and a -7 rating in 19 games this season. During the work stoppage, Hartikainen posted 11 goals and 27 points with the Barons.

Head Coach Ralph Krueger unveiled some new line combinations at this morning's pre-game skate:

Magnus Paajarvi - Sam Gagner - Jordan Eberle
Taylor Hall - Shawn Horcoff - Ales Hemsky
Ryan Smyth - Ryan Nugent-Hopkins - Nail Yakupov
Mike Brown - Eric Belanger - Ryan Jones

Ladislav Smid - Jeff Petry
Nick Schultz - Justin Schultz
Corey Potter - Mark Fistric

Ryan Whitney, Theo Peckham and Lennart Petrell are the odd men out. Devan Dubnyk will get the start in goal. In 25 appearances this season, Dubnyk has an 8-9-6 record, 2.71 goals-against average and .918 save percentage.
