EDMONTON, AB - The Edmonton Oilers will begin the 2022-23 NHL campaign with an eight-game pre-season schedule, the hockey club announced Tuesday.
The Oilers start the pre-season slate on Sept. 25 with an afternoon tilt against the Winnipeg Jets at Rogers Place before playing a pair of road games in Seattle (Sept. 26) and Calgary (Sept. 28).
Edmonton welcomes the Flames on Sept. 30 and then heads east to take on the Jets on Oct. 1. The club plays a pair of games against the Vancouver Canucks starting in Edmonton on Monday, Oct. 3 and a return match at Abbotsford Centre on Oct. 5.
The second-year Kraken make their way to Oil Country to wrap up the Oilers pre-season schedule on Friday, Oct. 7 with the regular season starting the following week.
