RELEASE: Oilers sign Sceviour, make roster moves

The Oilers inked Colton Sceviour to a one-year, two-way contract and made roster moves ahead of Wednesday's season opener

EDMONTON, AB - The Edmonton Oilers have signed forward Colton Sceviour to a one-year, two-way contract with an average annual value (AAV) of $750K.
Sceviour (32, 6'0", 190 lbs), cracked the club's roster after signing a professional tryout (PTO) in September just prior to training camp. The Red Deer, Alberta native appeared in seven preseason games collecting three assists while also seeing time on the penalty kill.
The Oilers also announced the following roster moves:

  • Philip Broberg (D) - Loaned to Bakersfield (AHL)

  • Kyle Turris (F) - Recalled from Bakersfield (AHL)

  • Josh Archibald (F) - Placed on LTIR

  • Zack Kassian (F) - Placed on Injured Reserve
