The Edmonton Oilers have signed free agent forward Kyle Brodziak to a two-year contract.
Brodziak, 34, played for the St. Louis Blues in 2017-18, posting 33 points (10G, 23A), 33 penalty minutes and a +13 plus-minus rating in 81 games. The native of St. Paul, AB is a veteran of 847 NHL games, recording 287 points (123G, 164A), 429 penalty minutes and a -38 plus-minus rating.

He has also appeared 57 NHL playoff games, tallying 12 points (5G, 7A), 16 penalty minutes and a -10 plus-minus rating.
The 6'2", 209-pound centre was originally drafted by Edmonton in the seventh round, 214th overall, at the 2003 NHL Draft. Brodziak was with the Oilers from 2005-2009, prior to stints with Minnesota and St. Louis.
