RELEASE: Oilers issue qualifying offers to Bear, Lagesson

EDMONTON, AB - The Oilers have made qualifying offers to pending restricted free agent defencemen Ethan Bear and William Lagesson.
The following players will become unrestricted free agents on Friday, Oct. 9: Andreas Athanasiou, Matt Benning, Logan Day, Cameron Hebig, Ryan Kuffner, Ryan Mantha, Angus Redmond and Nolan Vesey.
Bear scored five goals and 16 assists in 71 games during the 2019-20 season, while Lagesson played eight NHL games as well as 25 AHL games with the Bakersfield Condors, with whom he tallied three goals and seven assists.
