RELEASE: Oilers celebrate second annual Fan Day

Oilers will kick off 2019-20 season with Fan Day on Saturday, September 14

EDMONTON, AB - To open the 2019-20 season, the Edmonton Oilers will be hosting the second annual Fan Day on Saturday, September 14 at Rogers Place in Ford Hall. Fan Day will be free of charge, with doors opening at 11:00 AM and closing at 3:30 PM.

Fan Day will feature the opportunity to watch an open Oilers practice beginning at 12:00 PM and concluding at 1:30 PM. Throughout the day, there will be many family-friendly activities to keep fans of all ages entertained, including testing your hockey skills in the Hockey Zone, meeting the Oilers mascot Hunter in the Kids Zone and view the expanded Oilers artifacts on display. Fans will also have the opportunity to browse game-worn jerseys from various eras in Oilers history, including select jerseys from the 2018-19 season, in addition to Oilers new and game-used equipment at a Mini Locker Room Sale.

"Oilers Fan Day is the official start of the hockey season," said Oilers Entertainment Group COO & President of Business Operations Tom Anselmi. "Everyone has been working hard to make this a great year, we are so excited for the upcoming season and can't wait to get started."

Fan Day will also be the first chance for fans to get a live view of the new Oilers third jersey, place pre-orders for the jersey and shop for third jersey merchandise.
