The Edmonton Oilers have acquired forward Joey (J.D.) Dudek and a 3rd round draft pick in 2019 from New Jersey, in exchange for forward Patrick Maroon.

Dudek, 22, has appeared in 33 games with the NCAA's Boston College Eagles (Hockey East) this season, posting 17 points (6G, 11A) and 26 penalty minutes.

The 6'0", 190-pound forward, has appeared in 107 career NCAA games with Boston College, recording 42 points (20G, 22A) and 60 penalty minutes.

The Auburn, New Hampshire native was selected by the New Jersey Devils in the 6th round, 152ndoverall in the 2014 NHL Draft.
