RELEASE: Lagesson loaned; Maksimov placed on unconditional waivers

EDMONTON, AB - The Edmonton Oilers activated defenceman William Lagesson from Injured Reserve and placed prospect Kirill Maksimov on unconditional waivers Monday.
Lagesson, 25, has appeared in 27 career National Hockey League games, compiling two assists. After being activated, the Swede was loaned to the Bakersfield Condors of the American Hockey League.
Maksimov was selected 146th overall by the Oilers in Round 5 of the 2017 NHL Draft. He recorded five goals and eight assists in 53 career matches with the Condors.
