EDMONTON, AB - Today, the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF) announced that the unclaimed 50/50 jackpot amount of $116,080 from the November 4 game against the Arizona Coyotes, will be carried over to a new draw on December 31 at the Oilers vs. New York Rangers game.

Ticket holders for the New Year's Eve game will have the opportunity to purchase 50/50 tickets (Raffle License #537574) with the jackpot amount starting at $116,080. The winner will receive 50 percent of the jackpot amount. Last season, the EOCF had a carry forward on December 22, 2018, which resulted in a lucky Oilers fan winning 50 percent of a huge $487,436 jackpot.

"Funds raised from the 50/50 raffles allow the EOCF to continue to touch the lives of many people throughout northern Alberta," said Natalie Minckler, Executive Director, Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation. "We are fortunate to have such dedicated fans who continue to participate in this program, allowing the Oilers Foundation to further its mission in funding programming that benefits youth in our community."

The EOCF's 50/50 program has the highest average 50/50 prize of all Canadian NHL teams and supports several local charitable organizations, including minor hockey and ringette associations. For more information on the program and the ECOF, please visit www.oilersfoundation.ca.
