EDMONTON, AB -The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF) 50/50 raffle is back after setting a professional sports record last season with more than $20 million invested back into Oil Country. This year, fans across Alberta can look forward to more early-bird prizes like vehicles, cash, Oilers experiences and merchandise, in addition to the biggest life-changing jackpots in the province.
Starting today for the Oilers season opener, fans who purchase $100 in tickets receive $50 in extra value with $25 from PlayAlberta.ca, Alberta's only regulated online gambling site, and $25 from Century Hospitality Group, a collection of original, thriving boutique restaurant and bars in Edmonton.
Today's early-bird prizes include an autographed Leon Draisaitl jersey and a Christmas in November package at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. Saturday's Battle of Alberta 50/50 features additional early-bird prizes including a brand-new Ford F-150 -- with net proceeds going to STARS Air Ambulance.
