EDMONTON, AB - The Edmonton Oilers kick off a three-game road trip in St. Louis on Wednesday at the Enterprise Center against the Blues.
Goaltender Stuart Skinner was in the starter's net at morning skate, leading us to believe the netminder will start the first leg of the Oilers road trip in St. Louis. The Oilers play back-to-back games that continue tomorrow night against the Chicago Blackhawks, where Jack Campbell is expected to get the nod in goal.
Up front, the Oilers look poised to start against St. Louis the same way they ended Monday's win over the Pittsburgh Penguins after the top-six was shuffled due to Connor McDavid being taken out of the hockey game early in the second period.
When the captain returned, Head Coach Jay Woodcroft kept the assembled line of Evander Kane, Leon Draisaitl and Kailer Yamamoto together and put McDavid between Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Zach Hyman.
