Kane continues to pace Chicago in scoring with 90 points (36G, 54A) in 59 games. DeBrincat continues to chase Kane in goals, though he trails by four (32). He is tied with Toews for second in scoring on the roster. Both have 60 points in 60 games.
Collin Delia continues to have the best numbers between the pipes for the Blackhawks. He has a .912 save percentage in 13 starts. Cam Ward has seen his game hit an upswing as of late. He has a .895 save percentage and 3.69 GAA in his 24 starts. Corey Crawford is hoping to soon clear the concussion protocol and make his return. He hasn't played since Dec. 16 against the San Jose Sharks. Crawford has a .902 save percentage in 23 games this season.
The Blackhawks are surging, despite early season disappointment. They have won seven of their nine games in the month of February and a total of nine of their last 11, dating back to their Jan. 20 win over Washington.
This is the one and only road game of this trip for the Blackhawks as they head back home to host the Colorado Avalanche on Friday - a potentially huge game with playoff implications.
But the team will need to take care of business against the Red Wings first, a club with jut two wins in their last seven games. One of those five losses came against Chicago on Feb. 10.
The Red Wings lost both games of a home-and-home back-to-back series against the Philadelphia Flyers this past weekend.
Dylan Larkin paces the Wings in scoring with 24 goals and a total of 55 points in 59 games. Gustav Nyqvist is second on the team with 48 points (15G, 33A). Andreas Athanasiou is the only other player to reach the 20-goal mark for Detroit this season. He has a total of 37 points (20G, 17A).
SEASON SERIES:
This is the second and final meeting of the season between the two clubs. Chicago earned a 5-2 victory in the first on Feb. 10.
Dominik Kahun buried two goals against the Red Wings, while Dylan Strome, Kane and Toews chipped in the other three. Ward finished that game with 43 saves on 45 shots.

Cam Ward gets the start. Brendan Perlini (illness) is a game-time decision. Brent Seabrook (abdominal strain) did not travel and will not play.
OPPONENT TO WATCH:
Dylan Larkin has already surpassed his previous career high in goals and now leads the team with 24.
The 2014 15th-overall pick from Michigan is one of those players that makes opposing coaches say, "we have to be aware of where he is on the ice at all times."
He was a USA teammate of Kane at this past summer's World Championships of Hockey.
