PRESS RELEASE: Oilers recall Nurse

The Edmonton Oilers announced today, they have recalled defenceman Darnell Nurse from the American Hockey League's (AHL) Bakersfield Condors.

Nurse, 20, has appeared in six games with the Condors this season, posting one assist and seven penalty minutes.

The Hamilton, Ontario native appeared in two games with the Oilers last season, including his first career National Hockey League game on October 14 against the Los Angeles Kings, recording two shots and 18:04 of ice time.

Nurse has represented Team Canada several times internationally, most recently at the 2014 World Junior Hockey Championship; helping Canada to a gold medal.

The Oilers also announced they have placed defenceman Griffin Reinhart on injured reserve.
