Mathieu Garon's save in the dying seconds Tuesday vs. St. Louis was the play of the week.

Each week, features the best of the past seven days and gives fans a chance to vote on their favourite goal, hit or save. At the end of the year, we will list all the top plays and allow fans to vote on the 2007-08 Plays of the Year.

Listed below are the winning plays for the week of December 4 to 11, as voted by you the fans.
#3: Sam Gagner one-times a pass from Robert Nilsson to open the scoring against Dallas on Monday.

#2: Welcome back, Sheldon! Defenceman Sheldon Souray scores on a monstrous blast from the point with Edmonton on a two-man advantage during the Oilers' game in St. Louis Tuesday. It was his first game since October 13.
  • Goal: (EDM) Souray, S. (PPG, 13:05 in 2nd) 700K
#1: With the Oilers down two men and tied 4-4 with 11 seconds left in the third period, Mathieu Garon makes a brilliant save on Keith Tkachuk. Thanks to Garon, the game went into overtime and the Oilers eventually won in the shootout.
