Oilers sign Sallinen

Sallinen, 25, has appeared in 50 games with Jokerit of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) this season, posting 19 points (8G, 11A), 79 penalty minutes and a plus eight rating.
The 6’2”, 198-pound winger has accumulated 34 points (16G, 18A) and 107 penalty minutes in 98 career KHL games.
The Espoo, Finland native has represented his country several times internationally, including the 2010 World Junior Hockey Championship and most recently at the 2014 World Hockey Championship, recording four penalty minutes in nine games.
Sallinen was selected by the Minnesota Wild in the 6th round, 163rd overall in the 2009 NHL Draft.
