General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have recalled defenceman Taylor Chorney
and forwards Lennart Petrell
and Teemu Hartikainen
from the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League.
Chorney, 24, has played 24 games with the Barons this season recording 11 points (3G, 8A). He has also appeared in four NHL games with the Oilers and St. Louis Blues.
In 60 career games the 6’1”, 189-pound Thunder Bay, Ontario native has one goal and six assists.
Petrell, 27, started the season in Edmonton and had three goals and three assists in 30 games before being assigned to Oklahoma City last month. In eight games with the Barons the 6’3”, 198-pound Helsinki, Finland native has two goals and two assists.
Hartikainen, 21, has 19 points (9G, 10A) in 28 games with the Barons. He has also played in three games with the Oilers this season.
