The Edmonton Oilers have placed defencemen Jason Smith and Igor Ulanov on the NHL Injured Reserve List and recalled left winger Brad Winchester and defenceman Mathieu Roy from the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League.

Smith has missed four of the Oilers last five games due to a fractured toe suffered at Phoenix on January 29th and Ulanov is sidelined with a left rib contusion.

Centre Marty Reasoner is day-to-day with a chest injury suffered during the third period of the Oilers 6-3 loss versus Minnesota on Friday, February 10th.

With Hamilton, the 65", 215-pound native of Madison, Wisconsin has scored 14-6-20 with 85 PIM in 26 games. His 14 goals tie him for the Bulldogs lead, while his 85 PIM are second.
