Oilers recall Robert Nilsson

The Edmonton Oilers have recalled forward Robert Nilsson from the Springfield Falcons and assigned Jean-Francois Jacques to their American Hockey League affiliate.

Nilsson returns to the Oilers for the second time this season. The 5’11”, 185 pound right winger began the season with Edmonton and scored one assist in five games before being assigned to Springfield on October 12th. With the Falcons, Nilsson was eighth in scoring with two goals and two assists in five games and was third in plus/minus at +4 with four penalty minutes. He has scored 1-1-2 in nine career games with the Oilers and has 7-15-22 with 30 PIM in 62 career NHL games.

Jacques returns to Springfield for the third time this season, having previously been assigned to the Falcons on October 5th and October 13th. He was scoreless in nine games with the Oilers this season and has two penalty minutes. In four games with Springfield, Jacques has scored a goal and two assists with nine penalty minutes.
