Oilers Recall Hartikainen

General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have recalled left-winger Teemu Hartikainen from the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League.

Hartikainen, 21, has played 48 games this season with the Barons recording 30 points (14G, 16A). In 114 career AHL games, the Kuopio, Finland native has 72 points (31G, 41A).

The 6'1", 215-pound winger has no points in five NHL games with the Oilers this season. In 17 career NHL games, he has five points (3G, 2A). Hartikainen was selected by Edmonton in the 6th round, 163rd overall in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
