General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have recalled forwards Teemu Hartikainen, Magnus Paajarvi, and Chris VandeVelde, as well as defenceman Colten Teubert from the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League.
Hartikainen, 22, has played in 36 games with the Barons this season recording 26 points (11G, 15A). The 6”2, 211 pound winger has played 29 career NHL games with the Oilers and 153 AHL games over three seasons with Oklahoma City.
The 6”2, 204 pound Paajarvi has played in 36 games for Oklahoma City this season, registering 20 points (4G, 16A). The Norrkoping, Sweden native has played in 121 career NHL games with the Oilers and 70 games in the AHL with the Barons.
Teubert has played in 35 games with Oklahoma City this season where he has recorded 5 points (2G, 3A). The 22 year old defenceman has played in 24 career NHL games with the Oilers and 140 AHL games with Manchester and Oklahoma City.
A native of Moorhead, Minnesota, VandeVelde has played 30 games with the Barons this season, where he has 9 points (1G, 8A). The 6”1, 201 pound centre has played in 17 career NHL games with the Oilers, and has played 167 career AHL games with both Springfield and Oklahoma City.
