Oilers recall Bryan Pitton from Stockton

General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have recalled goaltender Bryan Pitton from Stockton of the ECHL. They have also reassigned Devan Dubnyk to Springfield of the American Hockey League.

Pitton has appeared in 17 games this year with the Stockton Thunder of the ECHL. He has a 7-8-1 record with a 3.15 GAA and .912 SV%.

The Mississauga, ON native was originally selected by the Oilers 133rd overall (5th round) in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. He was previously recalled on December 12 and reassigned a day later.

Dubnyk has appeared in two games this season for the Oilers, starting one.
