Oilers General Manager Steve Tambellini announced Sunday that centre Anton Lander has been recalled from the AHL's Oklahoma City Barons.
Lander set a new franchise record after recording six points in the Oklahoma City Barons' 7-3 win over the Rockford IceHogs Saturday night. The 21-year-old has posted eight goals and 19 points in 45 games with the Barons this season.
Lander was originally recalled to the Oilers on Jan. 31 and made his 2012-13 NHL debut that night vs. San Jose. The 6-foot-0, 194-pound pivot had recorded one assist in four games before suffering a broken foot that caused him to miss the next 16 games.
Upon his activation from the IR, Lander was then assigned to the Barons on Mar. 12.
The product of Sundsvall, Sweden was drafted in the second round (40th overall) in 2009.
