On August 26th Oilers President and CEO Patrick LaForge attended the Easter Seals Alberta annual Kevin Karius Golf Tournament to make a donation on behalf of the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation.
Earlier this spring, the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation committed to a donation of $11,570 for Easter Seals Alberta to support the purchase of mobility and accessibility equipment for their clients.
“Easter Seals Alberta does exceptional work in our community to help Albertans with physical disabilities have a full and prosperous life,” said Natalie Minckler, Executive Director of the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation. “We’re pleased to support Easter Seals Alberta and help to improve the lives of their clients through this donation.”
The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF) is dedicated to building strong and vibrant communities by contributing its resources and financial support to charitable organizations that serve the residents of Oil Country. Since 2001, the EOCF has worked to change lives in Oil Country through their support of a host of deserving organizations. The Foundation gives back in excess of $1 million annually to registered charities throughout Central and Northern Alberta who focus their activities on youth, education and health and wellness.
