Oilers assign Miller, activate Pitlick

The Edmonton Oilers announced today, they have assigned centre Andrew Miller to the American Hockey League's Oklahoma City Barons.

Miller, 26, appeared in nine games for the Oilers, posting six points (1G, 5A). He scored his 1st National Hockey League goal on a penalty shot against the Dallas Stars on March 27th; becoming the first player in Oilers history to score his 1st NHL goal on a penalty shot.

The 5’10”, 181-pound centre leads Oklahoma City in points (56), goals (25) and assists (31) in 58 games with the Barons this season.

The Edmonton Oilers also announced they have activated winger Tyler Pitlick off injured reserve.
