General Manager Craig MacTavish announced today the Edmonton Oilers have agreed to terms with Jokerit goaltender Frans Tuohimaa on a two-year entry level contract.
Tuohimaa, 21, has spent the last two seasons with Jokerit in SM-liiga, playing in 32 career games.
In 2012-13 he appeared in 13 games posting a 2.29 goals against average and .912 save percentage. In two playoff games he recorded a .960 save percentage and 0.77 goals against average.
The Oilers selected Tuohimaa in the 7th round, 182nd overall in the 2011 NHL Draft.
