(Edmonton, AB) – Oilers fans attending the first pre-season game on Monday, September 21 against the Calgary Flames have the chance to score big with the Oilers 50/50. Last season, the 50/50 take-home prize of $49,380 went unclaimed on April 7, resulting in the pot being carried over to Monday’s game.
The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation (EOCF) proudly supports registered charitable organizations and minor hockey groups in Northern Alberta through 50/50 draws that take place during all Oilers home games.
“Working with over 45 charitable organizations and minor hockey groups, the EOCF was able to reinvest over $1.1 million back into the community through our 50/50 program last season,” said Natalie Minckler, EOCF Executive Director. “The program continues to be a win-win-win for charitable organizations, fans and the EOCF.”
As a reminder for fans, 50/50 tickets are $5 each, 3 for $10 or 10 for $20. To help mitigate lines and ensure all fans have a fair chance to purchase 50/50 tickets, a limit of $100 per transaction will be in place for this game only. Tickets are still available for the 7:00pm game.
