Nurse to miss "up to 12 weeks"

Oilers President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced defenceman Darnell Nurse will miss up to 12 weeks due to an ankle injury. Nurse underwent "successful surgery" on his right ankle to repair ligament and bone damage, per Chiarelli.

The defenceman has not played since December 1. He has three goals and two assists in 25 games this season.
