Moreau Sidelined for the Remainder of the Season

Edmonton Oilers’ captain, Ethan Moreau suffered a fractured left leg in the team’s 3-2 win versus the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday, February 24th. Moreau suffered the injury on the final shift of the game and will be sidelined for the remainder of the season.

Moreau had scored 5-4-9 with 39 penalty minutes in 25 games since returning to the Oilers lineup on December 29th at Minnesota. He missed the Oilers’ first 38 games of the season after suffering a fracture in his left foot in a pre-season game at Calgary on September 22nd.
