Oilers captain Connor McDavid thoroughly enjoyed last night's NHL 100 event, and he didn't do it alone. McDavid treated his grandfather to the experience, and it was a night to remember for both of them.

McDavid's grandfather was particularly excited to see his idols from past eras.
"It was crazy, definitely a great event," said McDavid. "It was really cool to go see all those guys from the past and the present. It was just something I wanted to take in. I brought my grandpa with me and for him I think it was even cooler for him to see all those old-timers and guys he looked up to. It was from his era. He definitely had a good time as well, so overall it was a great event and I had a really good time there."
The NHL unveiled their greatest 100 players of all-time in a star-studded gala at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles last night. Seven former Oilers received recognition.
