MLB Advanced Media, in partnership with the Oilers, is seeking a creative hockey enthusiast with a social media and editorial background to be our eyes and ears at Rogers Place during the 2016-17 season.

This candidate will possess the ability to build compelling storylines at each game that capture behind-the-scenes content, memorable hockey moments, human-interest stories, and anything that brings the excitement of a game to life through video footage and photos, in real-time.

Do you love hockey? Do you have the ability of modern storytelling with just one photo? Do you possess strong social media and editorial knowledge? This may be the job for you.

  • Photography skills & editorial background are a must.

Job Description & Role

The Real-Time Correspondent (RTC) Program is a temporary position comprised of in-house correspondents at each NHL team arena during the 2016-17 season, capturing creative, memorable and exciting content in the form of video footage and photos during each game for the home and away teams and

The content will be used for, Club Websites, NHL Social Media platforms, Club social media platforms, and potentially other platforms.

As an RTC, you will be required to gather photo and video content for both the home and away teams during each game of the 2016-17 season at Rogers Place that you will then distribute back to MLBAM for usage across NHL and NHL Club platforms.
