20:00: Tonight's game is now underway.

15:00: Anaheim controls the game early, outshooting Edmonton 6-1 through the first five minutes.

11:00: Oilers start to steal back some momentum and get some zone time in the Anaheim end. Shots now 7-4.

9:35: Taylor Hall heads to the box, giving Anaheim the game's first power play.

8:02: Ryan Getzlaf pounces on a loose puck in front of the net and backhands it by Cam Talbot to give Anaheim a 1-0 lead over Edmonton on the power play. | ANA 1, EDM 0

6:36: Shawn Horcoff hammered Luke Gazdic from behind into the boards and received a two-minute minor for his efforts. Result was Edmonton's first man advantage of the night.

3:49: Oilers had some great chances but could not convert. They went right back on the PP, however, after Sami Vatanen held up Matt Hendricks through the neutral zone.

0.0: Shots were 11-9 for Anaheim after one period.


20:00: Period two has started.

12:05: Matt Hendricks looked to have a wide-open cage but his shot went off the side of the net.

8:40: Taylor Hall loses his stick and it goes flying right into the crowd.

8:17: Shots on goal are 20-13 for Anaheim; 9-4 in the second period. Hall goes to retrieve his stick, but gives the fan another one for their efforts. 

7:39: Matt Hendricks drops the gloves with Kevin Bieksa in a short but spirited bout. Both players head to the box for five minutes.

6:34: Tensions continue to fly between the two clubs. Gazdic and Patrick Maroon do some pushing and shoving near the team benches. Each player recieves two minutes for roughing.

4:36: Talbot made an unbelievable glove save on Vatanen, reaching out to rob the Anaheim defenceman on a point-blank opportunity from the right side.

Shots on goal are now 24-13 for Anaheim.

2:40: Oilers shake up the lines looking for some offence. After a strong shift with Hall, Nugent-Hopkins and Eberle, the Oilers go with Draisaitl, Purcell and Pouliot.

0.0: Shots in the second were 14-5 for the Ducks and 25-14 Anaheim in the game overall. 


20:00: The third period is now underway. 

15:44: Nugent-Hopkins gets a tripping penalty, putting the Ducks up a man early in the third.

11:15: Shots are now 31-18 Ducks after Edmonton kills off that penalty.

3:07: Shots now 35-20 Anaheim with time running out on the Oilers to get a goal.

1:24: Horcoff receives a penalty, giving the Oilers one last gasp to tie the game.

0.0: Oilers can't convert. Game is over with a 1-0 loss.
