20:00: The game is now underway. 15:00: Five minutes in, Anaheim has a 6-2 edge in shots over the Oilers.

10:52: Eric Gryba cleared the puck over the glass from his own zone near the midway point of the opening period, giving Anaheim the game's first power play.

9:51: 1:01 into the power play, Corey Perry's no-look pass went off the skate of Darnell Nurse at the top of the crease and in past Oilers starting goaltender Anders Nilsson to make it 1-0 for Anaheim. | ANA 1, EDM 0

4:25: Shots on goal past the 15-minute mark of the game was 13-4 in favour of the Ducks.

38.0: Nilsson made a big save off Rickard Rackell from point-blank range with traffic in front to keep it a one-goal game.

20:00: Period two is now underway.

18:07: Anaheim nearly doubled their lead two minutes into the second. After Nilsson made a stop, the puck trickled past him and laid unguarded in the crease. Mark Fayne managed to shovel the puck under his goaltender and out of harm's way.

17:31: Hampus Lindholm ran some interference on Draisaitl at the side of the Ducks net, resulting in Edmonton's first power play of the game.

15:37: With six seconds left in the power play, Draisaitl wired a one-timer from the right circle that found its way past Andersen on the glove side to get the game back on even terms at 1-1. | EDM 1, ANA 1

12:59: Shots are now 18-12 for Anaheim.

9:52: Hall got in behind the Ducks defence and broke in alone on Andersen but his shot went over the net. 5:00: With five minutes to go in the second, the game remained tied 1-1 with Anaheim holding a 20-14 edge in shots.

3:34: On the rush, Hall's initial shot was denied by Andersen and the Ducks goaltender then extended out his left toe to make another big save. Andersen got shaken up on the play.

3:07: Pakarinen got rocked by Maroon in the Oilers zone and Gazdic then dropped his gloves to go after the Ducks forward. The bout lasted quite awhile but there was no clear victor. The result of the sequence of events was an Oilers power play after Maroon received two minutes for boarding.

2:07: Yakupov turned the puck over in the neutral zone, resulting in a breakaway opportunity for Josh Manson. Manson tried to backhand deke it past Nilsson but the Oilers goaltender was right there with a big stop.

0.0: Shots in the second were 10-6 for the Oilers. Through 40 minutes, Anaheim had a 21-18 lead on the shot clock.


20:00: Period three is now underway.

18:04: Anaheim moved back in front only 1:56 into the third. Cam Fowler skated in behind the Oilers net before feeding Shawn Horcoff at the right post. The former Oilers captain quickly chipped the puck past Nilsson. The goal was Horcoff's 500th career NHL point. | ANA 2, EDM 1

14:22: Oilers get back on even terms less than four minutes later. Klefbom's blast from the left point found its way into the back of the net. | EDM 2, ANA 2

13:55: Nilsson makes a nice glove grab through traffic on Vatanen.

13:16: Corey Perry corralled the puck in the slot, took his time and then backhanded it in over the blocker of Nilsson to put Anaheim back in the lead only 1:06 after Edmonton tied it. | ANA 3, EDM 2

11:41: The onslaught of goals continued. From behind the net, Hall found a way to get the puck to Nugent-Hopkins in front and he managed to get the puck to his forehand before snapping it past Andersen. The goal was the third in 2:19 and fourth in 6:23 as the game really took an offensive turn. | EDM 3, ANA 3

8:24: Shots on goal were 29-23 for Anaheim with 8:24 to go in the third.

8:03: Nail Yakupov tripped up Josh Manson, putting the Ducks on the power play.

6:03: Oilers kill off the penalty.

4:30: A blast by Corey Perry went under the blocker arm of Nilsson and then just barely skipped wide of the far post.

2:06: Shots on goal were 37-23 for Anaheim with just over two minutes to play in the third.

0.0: At the end of regulation, shots were 37-24 Anaheim. 16-6 Ducks in the final frame.
