- No news is bad news when it comes to the status of Barons centre Anton Lander.

The 22-year-old remains out with what is only being described as a lower body injury. He did not travel with the team to Grand Rapids for Games 1 and 2 of the Western Conference Final or participate in Monday's optional practice at the Cox Convention Center in OKC.

Lander last played on May 13 in Game 3 of the Barons' second-round series vs. Texas. He got "banged up" early but returned to score a goal (his fourth of the post-season) in a 4-0 win, but has been out of the lineup ever since.

Lander scored the overtime-winner in Game 1 of that series as well.

There is no timeline for a return.

"It's status quo right now," said Assistant Coach Gerry Fleming. "He's rehabbing and when he's better, we'll get him out on his skates and see how he feels."
