18:00: Ottawa buzzes around the Oilers net and has a couple of good chances early on.

15:36: Jeff Petry is tripped up by Mika Zibanejad, giving the Oilers the first power play of the game.

14:54: Michael Stone steals the puck in the corner of the Oilers zone and feeds Milan Michalek in front. Viktor Fasth is sharp in making the quick stop.

13:49: Ryan Hamilton collided with Mark Borowiecki and got two for interference.

13:01: Teddy Purcell breaks in alone on Sens netminder Robin Lehner. Lehner made the save and a trailing Nugent-Hopkins just missed the rebound.

17:00: Senators announce that Chris Neil will be out indefinitely with a fractured left thumb.

12:51: The Sens looked to have made it 6-2 when Michael Stone slipped the puck past Bachman but it was ruled no goal due to incidental contact with the netminder.

9:52: Shots in the third period are 5-0 Senators midway through.

5:53: Mike Hoffman pounces on a rebound to backhand the puck by Bachman and make it a four-goal game. | OTT 6, EDM 2

4:01: Ottawa made it 7-2 when David Legwand tipped a shot in while the Sens were on the power play. | OTT 7, EDM 2
